In addition to negotiating and documenting our clients’ various transactions, we work with our clients to structure their real estate transactions to maximize the tax benefits and minimize the tax burdens associated with each transaction.
We have substantial experience in all aspects of commercial real estate finance, including construction and permanent lending and defeasance. We have also structured various non-traditional real estate financing for our clients.
Our real estate attorneys also provide support for the other areas of our firm’s practice. We document the transfer of properties in and out of trusts, estates, and business entities. We advise clients concerning various transfers of real property between family members and their related entities, and work to minimize the ad valorem, documentary, income, and intangible tax consequences involved in such transactions.
