Retirement Plans, Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation

We assist our business clients with the design and implementation of qualified retirement programs for their employees, including Section 401(k) plans, pension and profit sharing plans, and ESOPs. We also work with our clients to develop employee benefit programs, such as insured and self-insured medical plans, including cafeteria/flexible benefit plans, group life insurance and disability plans and other welfare benefit plans.

In addition, we work with employers to develop compensation arrangements for their executives, including non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements, qualified and non-qualified stock options, stock appreciation and restricted stock plans, and incentive bonus plans.

We also assist both purchasers and sellers of businesses with respect to employee benefits and compensation issues that arise in mergers, acquisitions and sales. We represent both businesses and individual executives in the negotiation and drafting of employment and severance agreements.
