Kathryn Lawfield is a Missouri native now calling Jacksonville her home. Kathryn focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She is dedicated to helping individuals and families plan for the future and navigate complex legal matters with clarity, care, and confidence.
Kathryn earned both her undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi. During her time at Ole Miss, she developed a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and client advocacy, which continues to guide her practice today.
While in law school, Kathryn worked as an associate at a firm focused on estate planning, corporate law, and real estate matters. This early, hands-on experience provided her with practical insight and a well-rounded understanding of how these areas intersect, which continues to inform her approach to client counseling.
In her practice, Kathryn advises clients on estate planning strategies designed to achieve personal and family goals, including asset protection strategies to help safeguard family wealth. She prepares and reviews a wide range of estate planning documents and assists fiduciaries and beneficiaries throughout probate and trust administration. Kathryn is committed to providing thoughtful, detail-oriented counsel tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Outside of the office, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Jackson, and her King Charles Cavalier, Ralphy.
