Fisher Tousey is looking to hire a mid-level associate to join our growing Corporate team in Jacksonville at our Riverside office. The ideal applicant will have between three to four years of experience in transactional corporate work with an emphasis on private company mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters, including private equity, corporate governance and other business issues. An understanding of tax issues affecting the transaction structure is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with corporate group on M&A transactions.
- Work with corporate group on general commercial matters.
- Work with trust and estate group on family held business matters.
- Work with real estate group on real estate matters.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years experience in transactional corporate/M&A
- Excellent academic credentials
- Admitted to practice in at least one state in U.S. provided that applicant will sit for the Florida Bar at the earliest opportunity.
- Ability to directly manage client relationships
- Excellent writing and communication skills

Fisher Tousey is looking to hire an Estate Planning Paralegal to join us in our Ponte Vedra Beach office. Experience drafting trusts and estates documents is required.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of paralegal experience, preferably in estate planning. Candidates must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Duties include, but are not limited to, drafting of simple and complex wills; life insurance trusts; revocable living trusts and other complex trusts; powers of attorney; and other estate planning documents. Candidates should be comfortable multi-tasking and have the willingness to take initiative and work independently whilst performing as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience, a strong knowledge of the Florida Civil Rules of Procedure, and E-filing experience in State and Federal court. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys in all phases of the litigation process. The position requires a high degree of organization, flexibility, and adaptability. We are looking for someone with a professional demeanor and pleasant personality with the ability to work closely with co-workers and interact with clients.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting legal research and analysis using various databases and resources.
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests.
- Assisting attorneys with case preparation, including organizing and managing case files and documents.
- Coordinating and scheduling depositions, hearings, and other matters.
- Communicating with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Assisting with trial preparation, including preparing trial exhibits and witness binders.
- Managing and maintaining electronic case files and databases.
- Performing administrative tasks as needed to support attorneys and the litigation team.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting.
- Strong understanding of the litigation process and procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Experience with E-filing and general navigation of the Florida court system
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
- Ability to write, speak, and interact clearly and professionally.
- Must be adaptable and flexible to adjust to changing demands and timelines.
- Extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
- Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Maintain frequently changing calendar through Outlook and understand priorities to effectively manage schedule.
- Ability to work 8:30 – 5:00 pm with overtime as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, etc.
