Fisher Tousey’s Laura Jacqmein Earns Florida Bar Board Certification in Elder Law

Earlier this month, the Florida Bar Legal Specialization and Education Department conferred the title of Board Certified Elder Law Attorney upon Laura Fannin Jacqmein, Senior Associate in Fisher Tousey’s Trust and Estates department.

Attorneys deemed Board Certified are those persons who have met The Florida Bar’s highest standards for specialized knowledge, skills, and proficiency in various areas of law. As of 2023, fewer than 5,000 attorneys have earned board certification in one or more of the twenty-seven specialty areas that the Bar oversees.

Laura Fannin Jacqmein received her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her B.A. in English from Davidson College. Laura is a Bencher for the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court and she serves as an Editor-At-Large for ActionLine, a journal published by the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law section of The Florida Bar. Her practice focuses on Elder Law, Trusts and Estates, Probate, and Guardianships.
