Fisher Tousey Names New Shareholders

Fisher Tousey is pleased to announce the promotion of two senior associates to shareholder status.

Asa H. Johnston was elevated to shareholder on January 1, 2024. Asa joined Fisher Tousey’s litigation department in 2020 as an associate and was promoted to senior associate at the beginning of 2023. Prior to joining Fisher Tousey, Asa served as a judicial law clerk at Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach, as well as an Assistant State Attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit in and for Duval County.

Asa’s practice is primarily focused on trust and estate, real property, business, and general civil litigation, as well as appellate law.

Asa earned his B.A. from the University of Central Florida, and his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Asa was admitted to the Florida Bar in September of 2017.

Kristie Saoud Johnston was promoted to shareholder on January 1, 2024. Kristie began her career as a summer associate with Fisher Tousey. After admission to the Florida Bar, she joined Fisher Tousey’s corporate department as an associate attorney in 2017. Kristie was promoted to senior associate in 2023.

Kristie focuses her practice on incorporated and unincorporated entity planning, mergers and acquisitions, commercial financing, and complex business structures. 

Kristie earned her B.A. from Wake Forest University, magna cum laude, and her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, cum laude.
